Another year

It's almost 2009 can you believe it?!?! I have to admit that this was a good year, one of the best. I have a feeling 2009 is going to be a great one too, Tyler and I have our goals set, our plans for the year, lets just hope it all follows through. :)
Some things to look forward to in 2009.. February- Celine Dion with my sister (ty and brad surprised us) March- Hawaii for 10 days April- I turn 26, June- school is out for the summer! It will be a good year.
We had a wonderful Christmas with Ty's family; getting together will all of the Taylors. We missed some people though Steph Boyd and fam, Tiff David and the fam! We miss and love you. Hopefully we will see you this summer. Christmas night we ended up staying over at the Cooks because the road to our house was closed. That blizzard was fantastic! I love winter storms.. as long as I don't have to drive in them. Well we wish everyone a safe New Years! Hopefully the weather lets everyone do as they planned..

Bella's first Christmas with us, and man does she love the snow!

A Ferney Family Christmas

Tyler and I just got back from Idaho, where we celebrated Christmas early with the family. We had our extended family party Saturday night with lots of cousins, and cousins children. It was cute the great grand-kids all dressed up for the nativity scene. Then of course we sang our songs, Jesse sang a beautiful song too. Sunday was our family party, it was so fun. I love that our family is so close to each other. My sisters and brothers are just fabulous i love them all so much. We have fun when we get together. The kids love it too, they are funny to watch all together, even little Peyton wants to jump in and play with the big kids.
We had a chance to see Nichole and Joe's new house, its about 2 months away from move in time, and it looks great! They are spoiled, there house is awesome. It was sad to leave my first Christmas away from home, leaving my nieces and nephews is always hard. Leaving my sis, bros, and parents is just as hard. It's a good thing i get up to Idaho at least every other month! :) The drive home was scary. The roads were pretty bad with all the snow, ice, and wind. We made a stop in Kasville where I got to see my uncle Rick (Maddy and Casey's dad). It was good to see him back in his home, but rough when you see a family member in such need and desperate for love. We all love him so much, and pray things can get better! I have never felt such a strong hug as i did from him that day.. Back to happy things, I hope everyone has a Happy Holiday Season! Christmas is such a wonderful time, I wish these feelings stayed all year. Be safe! Merry Christmas!

Weird Animals!

Tyler and I have had our fair share of helping animals this year! Although we couldn't be happier with our baby Bella. As you can tell (we blog a lot about her) that's what happens when you don't have kids. The picture is so funny, you can see that she really pouts when she doesn't get her way. She was so mad that she had to pose with a hat and bells. But she looked so cute!
Then last week I come home from work and Tyler tells me that there is some animal out on our porch. Me being the animal lover I head out there and find a scared, cold ferret. So I get the dog kennel and slowly convince it to go in. I bring it inside, give it water and food. Long story, im going door to door trying to find out who has lost their pet. No one claims it so the next morning Ty and I took it into the Animal Shelter. They could not believe it, they start questioning us about if we touched it, if it bit us, if the dog touched it. Then they tell us its a mink, and minks carry diseases and rabies. NICE! Good thing it didn't bite me. I thought it was cute and wanted to hold it. So that was that. We can't wait to see what happens next....

Happy Holidays!

Tyler and I just had the best 5 days up in Idaho! It started with Thanksgiving, spending time with family, eating awesome food, and seeing a cousin I haven't seen in 6 years. On Friday I had the opportunity to spend some quality time with Peyton while Ty went on a horse ride with my dad. Dad always seems to keep Ty busy up there.Saturday was Bailee's 6th birthday, I can't believe it. She has grown up so fast. I told her before we know it she is going to turn in to Hannah Montana. Yes she is in love with her, in fact everything she got for her birthday had to do with her. We went bowling for her party, she is an awesome bowler. My mom had even bought the kids a bowling game at the house for the kids to practice at. We have a lot of fun when we get together, we even had a poker night and MOM WON EVERYONE! It was also our first Thanksgiving with Maddy and Casey living in Idaho (our cousins). Long story short, my aunt died and my uncle is in jail. So Andrea and Brad are wonderful and asked Maddy to live with them, and Casey lives with my uncle Roger but spends most his time at Ann and Brads. It was fun to have them around more, they are wonderful kids (teenagers) who have been through so much!
That concluded our exciting vacation. Or so i thought, on the way home we had to stop by my uncles house and pick up the dog who had been living there by herself for a couple months, with the neighbor feeding her every day. The poor thing was so sick, we took her to the vet, and that was the end for Dutches. We had to have her put to sleep, it was probably one of the hardest things I have done. My aunt loved that dog, and the kids did too. The hardest part was letting the kids know about it, they handled it well. But it still broke my heart. After that I was ready for another vacation, but back to work we went.
I just realized this is the longest blog ever... Sorry. Needless to say it was a great vacation and hope everyone's was great too!
Bella had fun too, Ella just loves her, she even rubbed her to sleep!

Nephews.

I have to pay a tribute to my nephews now, Drew got his blog, Bailee and Ella had their spotlight, now it's Logan and Peyton's turn. Oh man i can't even imagine what it's going to be like when we have kids of our own... This last weekend Andrea, Brad, Logan, Jesse, Kim, and Peyton were all here. It was a lot of fun to hang out with everyone and have them to our house. Saturday night we all just hung out, Logan and I got our time together. We have so much fun together, he is an adorable little boy. Peyton was awesome too, he is the best baby! I'm praying my kids are as well behaved as my siblings kids. Bella had fun too, her and Logan just wear each other out; too bad he is allergic. Thank heavens for benadryll.. This is the week to really be thankful for the things we have. We are thankful for so many things, but especially our families! I am thankful for my wonderful husband, he understands me more than I understand myself. Thank you Bus for everything!!! xoxoxox

Happy Birthday Drew Boy!

Sunday was a wonderful day, Drew boy turned one! Most of you know the miracle story of Drew. Here it is a year later and he is just the cuttest, happiest little boy ever. It was a fun party Drew got lots of presents of course. He loved his cake, he dove right in. Then after the party Eric and Ty got a little out of control sucking helium and singing "Spongebob Square Pants"... DON"T ASK! We love Drew so much, he brings a lot of happiness to the family. Not to forget his amazing parents who are wonderful examples to us.. We love you Drew, Jen, and Eric...

Winter is here.

It finally happened! We have a new president, we had our first winter storm, and I got transfered to Traverse Mountain! FUN new things all in one day. I have been waiting for a position to open up over at the new beautiful Challenger over by our house in Traverse Mountain and it finally did! No more commuting to Salt Lake, or getting up at 5:45!!! YEAH! Today was my first day and it was a blizzard, parents couldn't get to the school, half the students didn't come, it was a mess. But fun! There was a lot of snow, and wind. The wind out there makes it super cold! It is offical that winter is here.
Last week my mom and dad came down and spent the weekend with us at our house. It was fun to have them at OUR house, and feed them, do something for them for once. :) They have been so good to Tyler and I, we were so happy to have them at our house. Mom and I went shopping the next day and had a BLAST to say the least. I'm usually not that big into shopping, but with my mom its always a good time. I also have an a announcement to make; I started reading "Twilight" yes it is good, yes i CAN put it down. I enjoy it, but now I have history books, english, grammar, and science books to read. Im teaching 4th grade for tomorrow and friday. It's crazy how smart they are and how much I have forgot. It's a good challenge for me.
Tyler and I are hoping to get internet on friday so i will be able to update more! For now, everyone enjoy every warm minute left of fall!!

COSTUMES..

I can't decide what to be for Halloween! Ty had this costume from 5 years ago, im thinking of using it and going as Bella! She seems a little jelous..

Fall Time....

I finally get to update. Ty and I have been in our house for 3 weeks now, and we don't have internet, everything but ineternet. I thought I would be fine but it's alittle difficult. Life is good, we love being in our house! It has come together so fast. I will try and remember to take pictures and post them.
Last week we went up to Idaho and introduced Bella to the family. They loved her! It was such a relief to see how well she listens anywhere we go. She also did really good with the kids! We had our anual friend reunion. SO MUCH FUN! Every year my good friends from highschool and I get together. This year was the first FAMILY party. Everyone brought their husband, and their kids. Ty and I had a lot of fun, everyone has the most amazing families. Im so lucky to have kept in good contact with my friends. Although i have to admit, I can do better! Love you girls.
The family is doing good. Joe, Nichole, Bailee and Ella are still at mom and dad's anxiously awaiting their new house. Its looking good, i can't wait for them to get all moved in. Andrea, Brad, and Logan are just loving being back in Idaho. A summer in New York was long enough. Kim, Jesse, and Peyton are great too. He is the cuttest little baby. Ty's fam is great as well. We had a lot of fun lastnigth with Jen and Eric; dinner and a pumpkin carving contest. I won't say who's pumpkin is who, but ya'll have to vote on who's is the best... Mine!!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a Happy and Safe Halloween. I love this time of year, Christmas creeps up so fast.
Tyler and I will be celebrating our 2 years of meet in Halloween! Congrats to us!
There is also a picture of Bella in the backseat on the way home from Idaho, she was so tired. Such a good dog, she slept the whole time!

Beautiful Bella

New things!

The house is done.. Ty and I start moving tomorrow, we are just so excited. So many new things all at once. And in the middle of it all we decided to adopted a dog. :) We went down to the Humane Society Satruday and there was our precious little Bella.. So cute, just looking at us, wishing we would take her for a walk. We did, and played around with her but weren't sure if we wanted her or a full-bred boxer. Ty has wanted a boxer forever. So Sunday morning we went and looked at some boxer puppies, so cute and sweet but not as cute as Bella. We went back to the Humane Society and became Mom and Dad.. (for now) We will see how she does and if we can handle her. Um sisters we haven't told mom and dad yet, we will break it to them gently.hahaha Don't tell them yet :) Bella is part bull mastiff, one year and 6 months,75 pounds, sweet as can be! House trained, potty trained, and obeys and listens to Tyler better than I do. Its crazy how fast you can fall in love with a dog. She dosen't bark or whine when she sleeps at night or at anytime. She dosen't jump up, growl, she's the perfect dog. We couldn't have found a better dog. Excitement all over. I will post more pics tomorrow, she is getting groomed and her nails done.. oh and we found out Bella means "beautiful!"
